Club House Etiquette and Dining

Smoking/Non-Smoking Policy

The Clubhouse is designated as ‘non-smoking’. We ask that our members and their guests use the area under the awning outside the lower bar for smoking.

Dress Code

Members in “proper sporting attire” may be served food and drink in the Clubhouse. A state of partial dress is not permitted on the premises except in locker rooms and the swimming pool area. Informal attire means jackets and ties are not required. Tennis attire welcome, but men must wear collared shirt.

Not Permitted

Short shorts, cut-offs, tank tops, T-shirts, Sports Jerseys, muscle shirts or swim wear. No jeans of any type will be allowed to be worn by adults or children during play of any athletic endeavor.

Guests

Guests of Platnum Members may use the Clubhouse an unlimited number of times as long as a member accompanies them. Special arrangements may be made through the manager when the member cannot be present. Members are responsible for all debts incurred and all acts committed by their guests. If a member invites guests to the Club and for any reason cannot be with them at the time they arrive, please call the Club an give the name of the guests and approximate arrival time.

Food Minimum

Meadowbrook Country Club has a monthly Food and Beverage Minimum for our Platnum Members. Food sales credited to a member’s food minimum include:

1. All food and non-alcoholic beverages purchased in the Mixed Grill or Dining Room.

2. All food and non-alcoholic beverages purchased at the pool.

3. Private parties such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and other celebrations where you the member are responsible for the bill. (Not paid by your company or business.)

4. Takeout orders.

5. Any unused portion of your minimum will be billed on the statement and is subject to sales tax.

6. Each month’s statement will have a line reflecting the amount of the unused portion of your minimum. Member sponsored events; business meetings and parties are NOT credited to your food and beverage

Charge Tickets

Platnum Members must sign tickets for all indebtedness to the Club before leaving the Clubhouse. A member signing another member’s ticket shall also sign his name to the ticket. Upon repudiation of such a ticket, the signer will pay the ticket. Children are required to sign their parent’s name as well as their own names. Every member must sign his or her name and check for the correct member number on all tickets.

These rooms may be used for half-day meetings, full-day meetings, luncheons, dinners, and private parties. Special room arrangements and menus can be provided for your event.

Service Charges

A service fee of 20%, plus tax, is charged on the total of all food and beverages for all parties, luncheons, dinners, meetings and golf outings.

Parties and Special Events

Large events such as wedding receptions, cocktail buffets, luncheons or dinners may be held in the Main Dining Room of the clubhouse. We can accommodate up to 250 persons for these events.

Pool parties can be arranged through the office for birthdays or other special occasions. We can provide food and beverages to compliment your swimming party.

Our 4 outdoor tennis courts are available for tournaments. We can assist with a party theme and food and beverage items for your event.

Bringing out golf guests? Let us help plan that special dinner or cocktail hors d’oeuvres party. We will open the club for you on a Monday for a golf outing with a minimum of 72 players. All food and beverage services can be designed to meet your needs.

Also remember, as a Platnum Member of Meadowbrook Country Club, you may sponsor an event at your club; rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, golf outings, and meetings are perfect examples.
